Prosper loan statsATTENTION: YOU ARE VIEWING AN OLD PAGE. MOST STATS ARE NO LONGER UPDATED AND ONLY REFLECT AN OLD STATUS OF PROSPER LOANS IN DECEMBER 2007 FOR HISTORICAL REASONS
From July 2006 to January 2007 only changes between "Current" and any other loan status were reported. Therefore the incident of a loan switching from "Late" to "1 month late" was not reported before Feb. 2007 No status changes before July 2006 were tracked Listing Description: I am
a 30 year old IT professional living in the great state
of Texas. I
have been working in the IT field since 1997 as well as owning my own
business
(www.maytronixx.com) since then; I am currently in the process of
consolidating
bills and tying the knot to a lovely young lady very soon. In the past I went through downsizing on the job, unemployment and a few failed business ventures. I am currently looking for a loan so I can consolidate some debt as well as fund my upcoming wedding. I have tried to obtain a loan the conventional way but with no avail due to my past credit history, the only loans I could get were payday advance loans which I had to take just to make ends meet. If you have ever had a payday loan you know how much of a bad idea that is thank God I have paid off those loans in which I never had a payment returned. I was told to obtain a few credit cards and keep a good payment history with the card company and this would boost my score. Well I got some credit cards but due to my credit history I could only get the cards with high rates and fees which were charged to the card once issued, this of course left a very small available balance of which showed bad on my credit report because it showed that I had open credit cards with a high balance which hurt my score. I have a perfect payment history with these card companies, the fees and rates are what's hurting me the high balance is hurting my credit score. I am in the market for this loan so I can pay off those cards but leave them open with a very little balance until I can obtain a card with a low rate , that way they will reflect on my credit report as opened accounts in good standing as well as having a low balance which will boost my credit score, as they were intended to do. I am confident that I will be able to repay this loan, because I recently moved from a hardware support person to a software support person which gave me an $8400 increase in pay, which drastically lowered my DTI. My credit score don't reflect the type of person I am nor does it reflect my ability as well as my willingness to repay my debts. My credit score is not reflecting correctly here on prosper, I pulled the same score from Experian and according to the score I got from them I should fall into the high end of the E category. If you fund this loan you can rest assure it will be repaid on time every month until paid off if not paid off early. My current financial status follows: Based on a pre-taxed salary of $41400 $2536 after taxes. *Rent -$954 *Utilities- $305 *Satelite- $75 *Credit cards/ Store Accounts- $145; these will be paid off with the loan *Cellphone- $200 (I pay my mother's cll phone bill also) *Insurance- $74 *Van pool to work- $70 ( would spend $55 a week on gas if I drove to work) Like I mentioned before I am confident I can and will repay this loan because I'm currently in a rebuilding of my credit phase to hopefully in the near future purchase a house.
