Prosper loan statsATTENTION: YOU ARE VIEWING AN OLD PAGE. MOST STATS ARE NO LONGER UPDATED AND ONLY REFLECT AN OLD STATUS OF PROSPER LOANS IN DECEMBER 2007 FOR HISTORICAL REASONS
From July 2006 to January 2007 only changes between "Current" and any other loan status were reported. Therefore the incident of a loan switching from "Late" to "1 month late" was not reported before Feb. 2007 No status changes before July 2006 were tracked Listing Description: Purpose of loan: Hello and thank you for viewing my listing. I am a middle aged man trying to get a new start in life after going though a divorce. I have 2 adult sons from my first marriage and a future extended family (2 boys and 2 girls) with my fiance that I am hoping to adopt soon. I am anxious to move forward in my life and getting my past and current credit situation corrected and back on track is a primary goal for me. I realize that there are delinquencies in my history which were a result of this divorce and also a series of unplanned emergencies for which I had no provision. This loan will help me get back on my feet and enable me to make timely and consistent payments and progress in improving my credit position.I had left my previous job during the divorce and had been in the process of looking for another for approximately 6 months (inactively and actively). I now have a good job as a Quality Assurance Manager bringing in steady job and income as well as a second job that will supplement my income on a regular basis which will help me to account for emergencies that have been plaguing me and preventing me from being able to get ahead. My debt ratio is pretty low so I can easily make the payments for this loan. I sincerely want to be able to get my credit score up so I can eventually buy a house again. If I pay off the over the limit credit cards and the payday loans I know that will help.....and I also wish to help my fiance with her legal issues (child custody) for which this loan would help ($1600). Unfortunately, since I got into Pay Day Loans, I now need help to get out of them. My financial situation: I would use the Prosper Loan to pay off the following: Pay Day Loans and Credit Cards. $390 World Wide Cash $320 Payday One $480 GFS $310 Cash Net $400 Cashnet USA $490 Arrowhead Financial $450 Continental Finance $350 Orchard Mastercard $1,600 ? Legal Fees (for my fiance) ------- $4,790 - Total amount of Debt to pay off My current monthly net income is $3,500.00 I am currently working as a Quality Assurance Manager with a foam manufacturing company. I have been employed with this company since September 2006. I am responsible for ensuring that the materials manufactured and produced at this facility meet all quality standards and that all the personnel are appropriately trained and equipped to do their jobs properly. Previous to this I was employed in the same role with an aerospace valve manufacturing company over a 20+ year period. I also am working part time in the evenings as a machinist with a small lapidary equipment manufacturer and have been with them since June 2006. Monthly expenses: $ 2,840.00 Here's my monthly budget with the prosper loan in place: $1200 - Rent $150 - Utilities $130 - Telephone $300 - Car Payment (9 months until payoff) $60 - Insurance $250 - Gas $350 - Other Debt (credit cards etc) Not paid off with loan $300 - Groceries $100 - Recreation -------------- $2,840 - total monthly expenditures As you can see, I will have over $650/month left over to be used, not only for my Prosper Payment, but for savings and emergencies so that I never get into this situation again. I can begin to live a normal life free from the stress caused by these Pay Day Loans and Credit Cards. I have learned my lesson. I promise that my payments to Prosper will be my top priority each month. In fact, I am going to have Prosper automatically withdraw my payments each month so that everyone, including myself, knows that my payment will be made on time, every time. I'm not about to make a mistake with this opportunity to start rebuilding my credit.
