Thanks.... since i am a newbie, is there anywhere where I can find out how Prosper works in details? For example, details like if a listing is not fully-funded, will my fund still goes to the borrower? Also where I can find stats of non-funded loans, etc.?

Hi,

many questions are answered on the Prosper help page:

No, if the listing at Prosper is less then 100% funded when the listing time ends, the borrower does not receive a loan. Money the lenders have bidded is then returned to the lenders account and can be used to bid on other loans.
The borrower can try again with another listing (relisting). In fact many borrowers need multiple listing attempts before they fund:

Leading stats sites for Prosper data are
http://www.ericscc.com and
http://www.lendingstats.com
There are also some stats functions on Wiseclerk:

Feel free to post more questions if you are uncertain about anything

How is Lending Club different from Prosper, in terms of process? I was searching the web and seems like they have this "LendingMatch" technology. If I am a borrower, do I still list like what I do in Prosper--i.e., write a story on why I need the $, my financial status, etc. then wait for funding, or does LC allows me to get the loan immediately like if I go to eLoan? How does it work on the Lenders side? Do I need to browse through multiple loan request listings?
